Compassion International Partners with NMIMR

Compassion International Ghana has donated an amount of Ghc 50,000.00 to the Institute as their contribution to support in the fight against COVID-19.

Compassion International is a charitable-based organization that aims at releasing children from poverty and being responsible Christian adults for the country and have been in operation in Ghana for 15 years.

Mrs. Gifty Dansoah Appiah, the National Director of the Compassion International Ghana who led the delegation mentioned that supporting Noguchi will at the end of the day benefit all Ghanaians and particularly the vulnerable people that they are serving. She expressed her appreciation to the Institute for their good work done during this pandemic.

The Director of the Institute Prof. Abraham K. Anang thanked them for their support in their participation to work as a team in the fight for Covid-19.

Also present were Mr. Benjamin Asare Yeboah, Senior Manager of partnerships and Dr. Ike Tandoh, PR Specialist for Compassion International.

As part of the short presentation ceremony, Dr. Mary Amoakoh Coleman, a Senior Research Fellow from the Epidemiology Department also donated nose masks to Compassion International to be given to the vulnerable under their care. Her presentation was on behalf of Medical Women Association of Ghana.
